The World Netball (WN) Commercial Committee is looking for an Independent Member, as WN continues its journey to GROW its reach, revenue, and capacity.
The Committee, which is advisory to the WN Board, is responsible for the commercial development of WN and the sport from an international perspective, with some of its key roles being to define the international federations commercial vision and mission, develop income generating opportunities for WN and the sport, and to manage data in line with best industry practice.
In 2023, the Committee launched WN’s Digital OTT platform, NetballPass, which enabled the Netball World Cup 2023 (NWC2023) to have a global reach and contributed to the overall viewership of the event surpassing 42 million, whilst the event also delivered the most successful sponsorship programme in Netball World Cup history.
The successful individual for this role will be someone with experience of digital transformation in sport to unlock commercial value for rights holders and their partners.
