New Zealand Remain Second Following Taini Jamison Series Victory

World Netball has today updated the World Netball (WN) World Rankings following New Zealand’s 2-1 victory over England in the Cadbury Netball Series for the Taini Jamison trophy.

The update includes matches up until the 30th September. Results from the ECCB International Netball Series, taking place from the 1st – 7th October, will be added at a later date.

No changes can be seen to any teams’ WN World Ranking following the series, but it continues to be close at the top of the table.

For New Zealand, their two victories over England see them stay in 2nd place, closing in the gap on Australia with the difference in the world’s top two’s rating reducing to just 14.

England remain in 3rd place having won the first match of the series, before losing the final two.

The England Roses rating is now 10 lower than the New Zealand Silver Fern’s, whilst the Jamaican Sunshine Girls are hot on the tails of the Roses in 4th, with their ratings separated by one.

You can view the updated WN World Rankings, here.

Next up in the international events calendar is the Cadbury Netball Series for the Constellation Cup, followed by the Battle of the Saints, the MIRXES Nations Cup, the Pacific Games and the South Africa Series.
