International shooters, Olivia Tchine & Sigi Burger, shine as Pulse & Stars secure victories live on NetballPass.

Round 3 of the Netball Super League took place this weekend, with Team Bath vs Severn Stars and London Pulse vs Loughborough Lightning the two matches selected for NetballPass.

International viewers that tuned in were treated to nothing short of excitement, with international shooters Olivia Tchine (England & Pulse) and Sigi Burger (South Africa and Stars) both putting on masterclasses.

The last time Pulse and Lightning met was in the Grand Final in 2023, and it was Lightning that came out on top, however, this time Pulse shooter, Tchine had other ideas.

Tchine, who was later awarded Player of the Match, shot at 93%, scoring 39 of Pulse’s 53 goals, including the winner, as Pulse won 53-52 in a nail-biting class in front of more than 3,500 fans in their home venue.

In the other streamed clash, it was Severn Stars that shot past Team Bath, recording their highest ever score as they won 72-44.

South African shooter, Burger, was unstoppable for Stars from the off, as her side took an eight-goal lead in the opening 15 minutes which they then just continued to extend as Burger missed only two shots in the full 60 minutes.

Burger now finds herself second in the league’s Top Goal Scorer charts, with 121 goals to her name this season.

You can catch up on both of these games, if you live outside of the UK and Northern Ireland, on NetballPass here.

Elsewhere in the NSL, Surrey Storm secured their first win of the season as they beat Saracen’s Mavericks, Manchester Thunder made sure they remained unbeaten as they put a stop to Sirens, and in another 1 goal margin thriller, Cardiff Dragon’s defeated Leeds Rhinos.
