Flow Sports to Show Every Game from the Netball World Cup 2023 Live in the Caribbean

World Netball has today announced that Flow Sports will show every match live from the Netball World Cup 2023 (NWC2023) in the Caribbean*.

The deal facilitated by World Netball’s international broadcast agency, SPORTFIVE, means that all matches from Cape Town, South Africa including the Opening Ceremony, will be shown on Flow Sports from the 28th July until the 6th August.

The Caribbean comes under World Netball’s ‘Americas Region’ and three teams from this Region have qualified a team to participate in the NWC2023: Barbados, Jamaica, and Trinidad & Tobago.

Jamaica qualified automatically for the event due to their World Netball World Ranking, whilst Barbados and Trinidad & Tobago were the two teams to qualify from the Americas Region through their NWC2023 regional qualifiers which were held in Jamaica in 2022.

Speaking on the exciting news, World Netball CEO Clare Briegal said: “It is fantastic to be able to announce yet another broadcast deal today for the Netball World Cup 2023, this time bringing the event to our netball family in the Americas Region, and more specifically the Caribbean.

“This deal means that we now have broadcasters on board in all five of our World Netball Regions, which is a fantastic achievement on our journey to extend our global reach and to bring more netball, to more people, more often.

“Thank you to Flow Sports for their continued support in helping World Netball continue to grow, play and Inspire.”

Monica Gonzalez-Piriz, Senior Director, Programming & Acquisition at Liberty Latin America (LLA), parent company of C&W Communications, which operates the Flow Brand and the Caribbean’s premier Sports Network, Flow Sports, added: “We are excited to deliver live coverage of the Netball World Cup 2023 via Flow Sports to thousands of netball fans across the Caribbean.

“With three (3) Caribbean teams in the running, we know that the competition will be keenly followed.”

Adam Schneider, SPORTFIVE Vice President for the Americas, said: “SPORTFIVE is proud to bring the Netball World Cup 2023 to Flow Sports.

“The Flow Sports partnership will bring high-level entertainment to netball fans throughout the Caribbean, on one of the most influential sports platforms in the region.”
