Two IUAs retire from their roles

Joel Young-Strong and Lilia Mathurin-Cameron have taken the decision to retire from their roles as International Umpire Awardees (IUA).

Both Joel and Lilia recently umpired at the Netball World Cup Qualifiers Americas, whilst Joel has notably previously umpired at the Commonwealth Games 2018, and Lilia the Netball World Cup 2019.

Speaking on their retirement, World Netball International Officiating Manager, Christina Barrow, said: “On behalf of World Netball I would like to thank Joel and Lilia for their time and dedication to umpiring at an international level and wish them well in their future endeavours”

Whilst Joel has retired as an IUA, she will continue as a World Netball ITP Cadet.
