Children in Australia have voted their national netball team, the Diamonds, as the favourite sports team at the Australia / New Zealand Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2016. Diamonds Coach, Lisa Alexander, commented: “It’s an absolute honour to be recognised.
The team prides itself on being role-models for our young fans on and off the netball court. Our community roots are important to us, you’ll see our players regularly conducting netball clinics and connecting with fans on social media.”
