Netball Samoa Rallies Together To Support Tonga

Netball Samoa recently ran a Tonga Relief Fast5 Tournament, to raise money for Tonga.

Following the devastating impact on Tonga of a tsunami and volcanic eruption, as well as their first cases of Covid-19, earlier this year, their Pacific neighbours Samoa have been fundraising to support the nation.

Teams raised WS$1,784.50 by participating in a Fast5 tournament, which will be donated to Tonga relief efforts, alongside WS$1,000 worth of non-perishable food items, courtesy of Peltan Shipping.

We are so proud to see our Members come together to support each other during challenging times.

There was a social division and an open division within the tournament, with Club 1975 winning at a social level and TokoUso winning at Open level.

Congratulations to all those involved in making this important event happen and to all the teams that participated.
