International Netball Federation To Take Part In Social Media Boycott

The International Netball Federation (INF) stands with the wider sporting community in taking part in a social media boycott from 15:00 on Friday 30 April to 23:59 on Monday 3 May.

The social media boycott is in response to the ongoing and sustained discriminatory online abuse targeted at professional athletes and others in sport.

INF President, Liz Nicholl CBE, comments: “Netball is a sport that will not tolerate or accept any form of abuse in our game. Social media should be a safe place for sport and all those involved. INF encourages social media companies, our Members, and the Netball Family to remove and report any abuse and hateful comments.”

Report any online abuse via social media channels.
