One of the highlight events in the international netball calendar, the Quad Series, returns this weekend, featuring four of the top five teams in the world.
The Quad Series, features Australia, England, New Zealand and South Africa and is played twice a year. The ‘Northern’ leg of the competition takes place in January, where matches takes place in London and Johannesburg. In August the ‘Southern’ leg of the event takes place with matches being held in Australia and New Zealand.
This weekend sees the first leg of the tournament begin in the Copperbox Arena, London. All four sides will have one eye on the Commonwealth Games which is soon approaching, making it a great opportunity for players to impress.
New Zealand will go into the event as the defending champions.
