Round 12 of the Netball Super League (NSL) did not disappoint, with the league leaders changing, and Nottingham Forest securing a spot in the Soft & Gentle Play-Offs for the first time ever.

Leeds Rhinos vs Manchester Thunder
AO Manchester Thunder has moved into the top spot after they beat Leeds Rhinos 66 – 82 in Round 12 of NSL.
South African SPAR Protea Nicola Smith was on fire once again as she made eight gains for Thunder, whilst England Rose Taylor McKevitt was just as impactful in defence as she made three deflections and two gains, earning her the Experience Kissimmee Player of the Match Award.
Whilst at the other end of the court for Thunder, fellow Rose Cardwell scored 33 goals and six Amex Super Shots as Thunder dominated all four quarters.

Loughborough Lightning vs Nottingham Forest
Nottingham Forest will play in the Soft & Gentle Play-Offs for the first time in just their second NSL season after they beat Loughborough Lightning 65 – 76.
It was Forest’s second half performance that earnt them this win, with England U21 Netball World Youth Cup 2025 Bronze Medallist Jayda Pechová key as she made eight gains, eight deflections and five rebounds before being awarded Experience Kissimmee Player of the Match.
Whilst at the other end, South Africa SPAR Protea Rolene Streutker scored 42 goals and eight Amex Super Shots, making her the first shooter to score 100 Amex Super Shots this season and ensuring she remains the top goal scorer, with 381 goals this season – what a season she’s having!

Birmingham Panthers vs LexisNexis Dragons
LexisNexis Dragons made it three from three as they got their revenge on Panthers.
The Welsh Feathers duo of Bethan Dyke and Georgia Rowe, linked up beautifully as Dyke made 32 feeds most of which found their way to Rowe, who scored 31 goals.
Whilst in defence Australian Jacqui Newton caused chaos with four deflections and three gains.
Panthers very own Australian Charli Fidler also made an impact in defence with three gains, but, it wasn’t enough as Dragons went on to win 50 – 62.

London Mavericks vs London Pulse
London remains pink following this weekend’s London derby after London Pulse got the better of London Mavericks once more.
Pulse flew out the blocks at the first whistle, scoring a flurry of goals whilst preventing Mavericks from doing the same through the defensive efforts of England Rose’s Funmi Fadoju and Halimat Adio.
In what was Fadoju’s 100th appearance for Pulse she truly lived up the occasion making 10 deflections, six gains and two interceptions before being awarded the Experience Kissimmee Player of the Match Award.
Mavericks made a second half comeback as England U21 Netball World Youth Cup 2025 Bronze Medallist Sophie Egbaran shone in the shooting circle.
However, it was too little too late as Pulse won 49 – 55.
