Welcome to Netball World Officiating News – a quarterly newsletter dedicated to the world of netball officiating. Read on for a quick round up off what has happened in International Officiating in the 3rd quarter of 2017.
Gold Coast 2018 has issued their official invite to the Netball Technical Officials who will preside over the Commonwealth Games Netball Competition:

During the Netball World Youth Cup (NWYC) 2017, INF President, Hon Molly Rhone, OJ, CD, presented attendance certificates to the INF appointed Match Officials (Umpires), Umpires Appointment Panel (UAP) and the Jury of Appeal (JOA).
Ann Hay, Alison Davies and Chakatsa Lephole all gained their International Umpires’ Award (IUA) during the NWYC2017.
INF also announced a new International Talent Identified Umpire (ITID), Ken Metekingi and an Umpires’ Award Testing Panel (ITP) member for Asia, Annette Smith.

Planned kick off meetings for 2017 Officiating Advisory Groups (OAG) have commenced. These will be completed in line with the OAG Terms of Reference:

The INF are looking to evolve and complete the INF Umpire Appointment process directly in INF netWorld with any associated emails being sent direct from that system.
Note: this will apply for International Netball Events scheduled in 2018 onwards
Also, the contents of any INF Fitness, Assessment or Test Reports and Event Feedback Forms will be submitted directly into netWorld.
With this in mind should you receive any email related to the use of INF netWorld please follow any instructions provided.
