The Netball Super League (NSL) began this weekend with London Mavericks, Leeds Rhinos, London Pulse and Loughborough Lightning getting off to winning starts live on NetballPass*, BBC and Sky Sports.
Each round this season we will pick one international player from each team that we believe deserves a spotlight:
Dragons vs Mavericks
Our first international spotlight of Round 1 in the NSL goes to Australian Chelsea Blackman on her NSL debut for Mavericks.
Blackman had to replace Vick Oyesola, who suffered an unfortunate injury, and she made an instant impact forcing errors and applying constant pressure to the Dragons attack as Mavericks won 56 – 65.
