The final INF World Rankings update of the year has been released.
The year draws to a close with the rankings reflecting the recent international action from the Constellation Cup, England vs Malawi test series and the Netball Europe Open which were all played between the 13th September and 29th November 2017.
Australia remains on top of the INF World Rankings, following their series win against 2nd placed New Zealand in the Constellation Cup. England strengthen their position in third following their Netball Europe Open win and their series success against Malawi, who remain 6th.
Following a second-place finish at the Netball Europe Open, Northern Ireland rise to 8th and Scotland improve their ranking by one place to 11th. Wales fall two places into 9th and Fiji move outside of the top 10 into 12th. Uganda and Barbados benefit from these changes moving into 7th and 10th respectively.
Namibia’s position was corrected from 31st to 34th following an audit of score sheets from the Pent Series that was held in September.
There are now 39 teams with an INF World Ranking.
