World Netball (WN) has today updated the WN World Rankings.
The biggest jump in the table comes from the Isle of Man, who have moved up five places to 31st in the table, having won three out of their last five matches.
This WN World Rankings update includes the addition of results from all international matches played since the Annual Update on the 1st March 2025, up to and including matches played on the 1st June 2025.
The next WN World Ranking update after this will take place in September, and will be used to determine the 12 teams that will be invited to compete in the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, whilst the final update of the year in December, will be used to confirm the first five qualifiers for the Netball World Cup 2027 (NWC2027), who will qualify automatically to be invited to compete alongside the hosts, Australia.
This update also sees Northern Ireland and Gibraltar increase their rating, with Northern Ireland winning their last two matches, and Gibraltar winning all four of theirs – both teams ranking remains the same despite their rating increasing, as they sit 12th and 27th respectively.
Malta have moved up two places to 38th, after winning two of their last four matches.
France on the other hand, who joined the WN World Rankings for the first time in July 2024, have dropped from 31st to 39th having lost four out of their last five matches.
The changes in WN World Ranking for the Isle of Man (31st) and France (39th) have led to St Kitts and Nevis and Hong Kong moving up one place (36th and 37th), and Cayman Islands dropping one place to 40th, despite having played no matches in this period.
