Following Round 4 of the ANZ Premiership (ANZP) no team remains unbeaten as Mystics put a stop to defending Champions Tactix run, live on NetballPass*.

Mystics vs Tactix
Mystics got their season back on track after they dealt Tactix their first defeat of the ANZP season in Round 4, meaning no team now remain undefeated this season.
With the league leaders Tactix up by one at half time, a strong second half was needed from Mystics for them to bounce back from their Round 3 defeat – and wow, did they deliver!
The penultimate quarter was one of defensive dominance for the home side, with Silver Fern Catherine Hall a force to be reckoned with under post as her defensive pressure contributed to a series of Tactix errors, which Mystics were able to capitalise of winning the 15 minutes 14 – 7 and giving themselves a 38 – 32 lead going into the final quarter.
The hustle continued from Mystics in quarter four with Silver Fern Peta Toeava running the centre court in what was her 150th national league match.
Toeava finished the game with 21 goal assists, 16 centre pass receives and 34 feeds, as her team won 52 – 43.

Steel vs Pulse
Steel showed their strength to make it three wins on the bounce as they beat Pulse 54 – 47.
After a goal for goal first quarter, Steel put their foot on the gas in next two quarters, giving themselves a comfortable 12 goal lead heading into the final 15-minute period.
The home sides Captain Silver Fern Kimoira Poi was a real play maker at centre as she put her mark on the game in all three thirds, making 18 goal assists and 30 feeds.
In the shooting circle for Steel fellow Silver Fern Aliyah Dunn was on fire scoring 42/43 of her shots, before she unfortunately made an early exit from the court in quarter four due to injury.
Nevertheless, Steel managed to withhold a Pulse comeback to win the match 54 – 47.

Stars vs Magic
Speaking of keeping up a winning streak, Stars shone bright in their clash against Magic in Round 4 to make it three out of four wins for them this season, placing them 2nd in the table.
The home side just continued to step it up a gear at each time of asking in this game, as they won all four quarters with the biggest goal scoring margin in the fourth, which they won 15 – 8 to cement their 56 – 39 victory.
Silver Fern U21 Netball World Youth Cup 2025 Captain and Silver Medallist, Amelia Walmsley was clinical under post as she scored 46 out of 49 of her shots, whilst at the other end of the court Magic were given no room to move thanks to the defensive efforts of Stars.
