INF Announce New Regional Officiating Coordinators

The INF is pleased to announce that the process for the appointment of the Regional Officiating Coordinator (ROC) role, commencing January 2019, has been completed.

Each INF region has a Regional Officiating Coordinator (ROC), who supports the INF’s International Umpiring Manager to lead International Officiating.

The INF ROCs facilitate the pathway to International Umpiring working closely with the International Umpire’ Award (IUA), International Talent Identified (ITID) umpires and the IUA Testing Panel (ITP), with interaction with INF Members and Regions as detailed in the INF procedures.

The following appointments will commence in January 2019 for this voluntary role, with a 2 year term:

Africa: Neo Gwafila-Bulayani*
 

Americas: Vaneisha Cadogan*
 

Asia: Lainie Houston (re-appointment)
 

Europe: Alan Anderson (re-appointment)
 

Oceania: Garratt Williamson*
*The current ROCs will be in role until the end of January 2019 to handover the responsibilities. 

INF International Umpiring Manager, Christina Davidson says:

‘This is a really important role to complete in support of the activities associated with international umpiring and the INF is pleased to be working with those appointed to set world class standards in international officiating.’

The INF would also like to acknowledge and thank the following people, who will not be continuing in the ROC role, for all their voluntary effort and contributions made to International Umpiring:
