World Netball (WN) and Netball New Zealand (NNZ) are thrilled to announce that tickets for the FAST5 Netball World Series 2024 are going on public sale today.
This exciting event, confirmed to take place in Christchurch, New Zealand for the third consecutive year, will be held from the 9th – 10th November 2024.
The women’s competition will feature the hosts, New Zealand, along with the top five countries in the WN World Rankings as of 1st March, 2024: Australia, England, Jamaica, South Africa, and Uganda.
Additionally, the event will include three men’s teams, with New Zealand hosting, alongside their trans-Tasman rivals Australia, and South Africa.
Defending champions Australia women and New Zealand men will aim for their third consecutive titles at this year’s event.
“The FAST5 Netball World Series is a key part of our thrilling international events calendar,” World Netball Head of Events Kate Agnew said.
“This innovative, dynamic, and fast format has brought great entertainment and talent to New Zealand over the last two years.
“We know that Netball New Zealand, along with the world’s other five-most experienced FAST5 women’s teams and our three world-class men’s teams, will create a fantastic spectacle for all to enjoy this year too.”
NNZ CEO Jennie Wyllie said it was exciting to showcase FAST5 on New Zealand soil again: “It will be great to host these international teams once again in Christchurch.
“We know our fans will be thrilled to see such a strong line-up for the FAST5 Netball World Series 2024 and we look forward to showcasing the series both in New Zealand and around the world this November.”
