World Netball Announces Five Regional Qualifiers for the Netball World Cup Sydney 2027

With 10 of the 16 places at the Netball World Cup Sydney 2027 (NWC2027) still up for grabs, World Netball (WN) has today announced the dates and hosts of the five Regional Qualifiers.

Two teams will qualify to be invited to the NWC2027 from each of the Regional Qualifiers, joining the six pre-qualified teams Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica, England, South Africa and Uganda, who all qualified based on their WN World Ranking on the 1st December 2025.

The Regional Qualifiers will take place from August to October 2026, starting with Asia whose Regional Qualifier will be hosted by Hong Kong, between the 7th-16th August.

September is then the busiest month, with three Regional Qualifiers taking place including Oceania’s in Tonga from the 14th-19th, Africa’s in Kenya from the 19th-26th, and Europe’s  in Scotland from 25th-27th.

The final two teams to be invited to the NWC2027 will be from the Americas Region, with their Regional Qualifier taking place from the 19th-26th October in Barbados.

With the NWC2027, taking place from the 25th August – 5th September 2027, set to be the most electric yet, you can be sure to expect the most fiercely competitive Regional Qualifiers, as the teams battle it out for a spot on the world stage.
