Wales will take on New Zealand in February 2017 just a few days after the Silver Ferns end their Quad Series campaign.
Wales will host two test matches with the Silver Ferns on February 7th and 8th 2016, at the Sport Wales National Centre, Cardiff. The fixtures will mark twenty years since the Ferns visited Wales in 1997. Wales have played against the Kiwis just 14 times over the last 60 years. With both sides looking ahead to the Commonwealth Games, it will be a hot competition and an unforgettable experience.
“We are very excited to welcome the Silver Ferns to Wales to play a test match series in February 2017,” said Welsh Netball’s chief executive Sarah Jones.
“The Ferns are world class and one of the most dominant netball teams in the world, and we feel privileged to host them.
“This will be an exhilarating event for the ever-growing netball community in Wales to watch and get involved with.”
