Uganda and Zimbabwe have both qualified for the Netball World Cup 2019, following the Regional Qualifier – Africa in Lusaka, Zambia held from the 13 – 18 August 2018

Uganda secured their qualification with a 66-52 victory over Zimbabwe on Saturday afternoon whilst Zimbabwe’s 58-42 victory over Kenya earned them the second place available for the Africa region.

Zimbabwe’s win makes netball history as they qualify for the very first time for a Netball World Cup

Both teams showed great performances by some fantastic players throughout the Africa Qualifiers which were live-streamed by the INF throughout the tournament.

There are just four more qualification spots available for Netball World Cup 2019 which will be decided over the coming weeks in the final Regional Qualifiers tournaments to be held in Americas and Asia.
