Tactix and Pulse continue to pull away at the top of the ANZ Premiership

With Round 8 of the ANZ Premiership (ANZP) complete, it is Tactix and Pulse that continue to fly high at the top of the table, still having only lost one game each.

Pulse bounced back from their first defeat of the season in Round 7 against Magic to beat Steel 57-37, whilst Tactix continued to impress as they took another big win, this time against Mystics who they beat 56-42.

Silver Fern Te Paea Selby-Rickit was on fire for Tactix at goal attack, scoring all 14 of her shots whilst also making 15 goal assists and one interception.

Whilst for Pulse the class shone at the other end of the court with Kelly Jackson making nine gains and two interceptions in their victory against Steel.

Both Tactix and Pulse remain on the same points, but Pulse are currently top of the table on goal percentage.

For Stars, things are not looking so bright as they are still searching for their first win having lost marginally to Magic.

Silver Fern shooter Maia Wilson was on fine form for Magic, as she put on a shooting masterclass scoring 32 from 32, giving her side a 42 – 52 lead going into the last quarter.

Stars shot into the final 15-minutes, winning this period 14-8 but it was too little too late, as Magic took the win 56-60.
