The second part of Round 3 of the Suncorp Super Netball League (SSN) took place this weekend, live on NetballPass.*, Kayo Sports, Foxtel and Binge, with Lightning leap frogging Firebirds, and Fever securing their first victory of the season.
Sunshine Coast Lightning vs Queensland Firebirds
Lightning leap frogged Firebirds in the league as they dealt them with their first defeat of the season, 64-50.
It was a great day for Australian Diamond and Lightning star Cara Koenen, who played in her 100th national league game.
Koenen, who has played all 100 games for Lightning, shone on the day as she scored 39 goals, as well as two Super Shots in the final quarter.
Our Congratulations also goes to Mahalia Cassidy who played her 100th league game too.

Melbourne Vixens vs West Coast Fever
Jamaican Sunshine Girls Jhaniele Fowler-Nembhard made her return for Fever following personal leave in Round 3, and the shooter did not disappoint.
Fowler-Nembhard was as composed and reliable as ever, scoring 59 goals from her 60 attempts, whilst her shooting partner and fellow Sunshine Girl Shanice Beckford recorded her season best with 20 goals and seven goal assists.
Fever went on secure their first win of the season, 57-67, against Vixens.
