Elite netball fans have been enjoying a wealth of exciting matches recently, and the great news is that there’s still more to come. Read on to find out who’s recently qualified for next year’s Netball World Youth Cup, to be held in Gaborone, Botswana.
Oceania
The Fijian Baby Pearls were delighted to go undefeated through the Oceania Region qualifying tournament for the Netball World Youth Cup 2017. Joining them at next year’s tournament in Botswana will be the Cook Islands and Samoa, who finished the tournament second and third respectively.

Wales
Our final qualifying tournament for next year’s Netball World Youth Cup takes place in Wales this weekend. The host team will be joined by Northern Ireland and Scotland, as well as England, who have already qualified by finishing as one of the top teams in the previous tournament.

Africa
South Africa is currently hosting this year’s Diamond Challenge. The home side kicked off their title defence with an emphatic victory over Zimbabwe, 70-35, and followed this up with a strong win over Uganda, 59-27. The series finals take place on Wednesday (5th).

Australia and New Zealand
Next on the agenda for the world’s top two nations is the Constellation Cup. This year’s series kicks off in Sydney on Sunday (9th), before moving on to Launceston on the 12th, Auckland on the 15th, and Invercargill on the 20th.
