The final round of the Suncorp Super Netball League (SSN) took place live on NetballPass.*, Kayo Sports, Foxtel and Binge this weekend, with the Minor and Major Semi-Finals now set.
Giants Netball vs Melbourne Mavericks
This game was all about England Rose, Jo Harten.
Earlier in the week, Harten announced this would be her last game before retirement and it really was the fairytale ending.
In front of a packed home crowd, Harten lead her Giants side to a 74 – 59 victory, scoring the final Super Shot on the game.

Adelaide Thunderbirds vs Sunshine Coast Lightning
Adelaide Thunderbirds confirmed their spot in the Minor Semi-Final with a victory over Sunshine Coast Lightning.
It was clear from the start both teams were nervous, and it was Lightning that settled and made their mark first leading 15-13 at the end of quarter one.
The momentum soon shifted in the second stanza, as Thunderbirds flew out the blocks and took control.
It was Captain Hannah Petty that steadied the ship, leading by example as she made one intercept, one gain and three turnovers all which proved crucial in the tight contest.
Lightning did fight back in the final 15 minutes, but it all proved too much as Thunderbirds won 59 -55.

Queenland Firebirds vs NSW Swifts
Swifts can now head into the Major Semi-Final with a fire in their belly after they pulled off a 75 – 79 win in extra time against Queensland Firebirds.
The Swifts shooters were crucial to this victory, with England Rose Helen Housby sinking Super Shots when it mattered most and Silver Fern Grace Nweke, holding her nerve to score the equaliser sending the game into extra time.
Housby scored six Super Shots in this game, meaning she finishes the regular season top of the Super Shots charts with 60 to her name.
Swifts showed their experience in extra time, winning this final period 7 – 11.

West Coast Fever 71 vs 60 Melbourne Vixens
Swifts aren’t the only team going in the Major Semi-Final off a victory though, West Coast Fever also finished the regular season on a high as they recorded their 12th straight victory in front of a record-breaking 12,813 crowd.
Fever fired past Melbourne Vixens, winning all four quarters and beating them 71 – 60.
Keeping with the theme of on form international shooters, Jamaican Sunshine Girl Jhaniele Fowler-Nembhard was clinical for Fever as she shot at 100%, scoring all 60 of her shots.
Another international star that deserves a spotlight is Fever’s wing attack Alice Teague-Neeld as she acted as the real playmaker racking up 32 goal assists, two gains, and three turnovers.
Vixens will now face Thunderbirds in the Minor Semi-Final, whilst Fever will host Swifts in the Major Semi-Final.
