The Isle of Man (IoM) hosted their first Test Series this weekend when they welcomed Wales to National Sports Centre in Douglas for three test-matches.
The series ran from the 11th – 14th November, and saw Wales beat the hosts in all three matches.
The President of the IoM Netball, Pip Cross, was proud of the weekend of netball the IoM hosted and is excited for the associations future, she commented: “Isle of Man Netball continues to go from strength to strength and we have a lot more international opportunities for 2022.
“In the coming weeks we will be announcing our 3-year strategy for Isle of Man Netball, our commitment to grow netball at all levels on the Isle of Man – it’s an exciting time.”
Here are the results from the Test Series:
Test Match 1: Isle of Man 24 – 76 Wales
Test Match 2: Isle of Man 26 – 85 Wales
Test Match 3: Isle of Man 29 – 82 Wales
Congratulations to Isle of Man attacker, Rachel Johnstone, who was crowned ‘Player of the Series’ after playing centre for all three matches.
