Americas Region
Scope of the Region
The Americas Region covers a total of 54 countries.
Current Regional & World Netball Members
Any country within the Region is encouraged to play and develop netball and those who join both the Regional Federation and World Netball, as either Associate or Full Members, gain access to a wider range of support services.
The Americas Region currently has two Associate Members and 18 Full Members.

Lead Agency
The Americas Federation of Netball Associations, known as Americas Netball (AN) is the recognised World Netball Agency for the Americas Region.
AN has launched their 2022-2026 Regional Strategic Plan setting out how they will support the development of Netball over the next four years.

Regional Federation Officials
Officials of the AN Executive Committee are elected by Members of the Association at the Annual General Meeting every 4 years. The term of office is 4 years.
The current AN Executive Committee includes
- President – Dr Bridget Adams
- 1st Vice-President – Simone Forbes
- 2nd Vice-President – Javon Edwards
- Honourary Secretary – Shirley George-Benjamin
- Treasurer – Jacintha Ballantyne
- World Netball Regional Director – Dr Bridget Adams
The current President is also the World Netball Regional Director.
The Executive meets at least six times per year.
Regional Meetings
AN members meet quarterly with one AGM per year. Other meetings are held as necessary.
Competition
AN organizes competitions for senior teams in the Region and also organizes competitions for U21 and development teams.
The Association also organizes Regional qualifying tournaments every four years for the Netball World Cup and the Netball World Youth Cup. These are held the year prior to these Netball World Cup events.
AN also encourage its members to play in external competitions and competitions amongst other teams within the region.
Training Courses
AN organizes training courses for its Members in Governance, Coaching, Umpiring, Bench Officiating and other Developmental courses.
