Glasgow 2026 – Session Spotlight!

With 38 matches in nine days we know it might be a little overwhelming deciding which sessions to buy your Glasgow 2026 tickets for, so we are here to help!

We have picked out some exciting key match ups from the schedule below that you may have missed, with tickets for all these matches still on sale now, here.

New Zealand vs Jamaica

Sunday 26th July

First up, we have a Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games Semi-Final repeat in the Pool stages, with New Zealand taking on Jamaica on the second day of competition in Glasgow.

When the two teams last met at the Commonwealth Games it was Jamaica that were victorious, beating New Zealand 67-51 to reach their first ever Commonwealth Games Final.

Since then, the two teams have met at the Netball World Cup 2023 (NWC2023) in the Bronze Medal Match, where once again it was the Jamaican Sunshine Girls that were triumphant, finishing in 3rd place in World Netball’s (WN) pinnacle event, as they beat the Silver Ferns 52-45.

However, the New Zealand Silver Ferns are still ranked one place higher than Jamaica in the WN World Rankings at 2nd and they will certainly be looking to get their revenge this year.

Purchasing tickets for this session at Glasgow 2026 also gives you the opportunity to watch Uganda vs Trinidad and Tobago.

It is a session you do not want to miss, and you can purchase your tickets here.

Scotland vs Trinidad & Tobago

Monday 27th July

If you are wanting to watch the hosts, Scotland, and be part of what is sure to be a lively home crowd, but you are not sure which match to pick, we have got you covered.

On Monday 27th July, Scotland will face Trinidad and Tobago in their 3rd pool match.

When these two teams met at the Netball World Cup 2019 (NWC2019) in Liverpool, the game ended in a 43 – 43 draw.

You can re-watch this game, here.

If the NWC2019 is anything to go by, this is a match you will want to snap up tickets for whilst they are still available.

By purchasing tickets for this game, you’ll also be able to watch the WN World Ranked number three Jamaica take on WN World Ranked number six Uganda in the same session.

Head to the Glasgow 2026 website to purchase your tickets, here.

New Zealand vs Uganda

Tuesday 28th July

We might have already highlighted one New Zealand game, but we couldn’t not flag this one too.

Contests between the Silver Ferns and Uganda have been fierce over the last few years, with the two teams notably playing in the 3rd/4th place game at the Nations Cup 2024.

At half time of this match the score sat at 30-30, with Grace Nweke and Mary Cholhok just as clinical as each other in the opposing shooting circles.

The game went down to the wire, with New Zealand eventually winning by just five goals live on NetballPass.

This session at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games also includes Australia vs Malawi, meaning you can watch the WN World Ranked number one and two all with just one ticket.

Purchase your tickets for this session here.

Malawi vs Tonga

Thursday 30th July

On the final day of Pool matches, you will be able to watch the WN World Ranked 8th and 9th teams go head-to-head at the Hydro Arena.

The two teams met in the 7th / 8th Play-Off at the NWC2023, with Malawi winning by 10 after what was an extremely close contest, live on NetballPass.

It is not just the players on the court that impress during this fixture, the Malawian and Tongan fans always bring the energy to the crowd wherever their teams are playing in the world.

The good news is in the same session as Malawi vs Tonga on Thursday 30th July, you will also be able to watch Uganda vs Scotland – all with one ticket!

These two teams recently came up against each other at the Celtic Cup, where Uganda beat Scotland by just two goals, 51-53.

It is a crowd you will want to be part of, and the good news is tickets for this session are still on sale, here.
