The most recent Commonwealth Games (CWG), Birmingham 2022 (B2022), was Scotland’s 3^rd after they competed as the host nation at Glasgow 2014, and then qualifying for the Gold Coast 2018 event.

In all three of their CWG appearances, the Scottish Thistles have finished in 9^th place, most recently beating Northern Ireland 43-33 at B2022 in the 9^th/10^th classification match.
