This was a game of two halves, as Vixens flew out the blocks winning the opening two quarters, before Swifts attempted a second half come-back winning quarters three and four but not quite doing enough to win the game.
Australian Diamond Kiera Austin was a key part of the Vixen’s victory, as she was clinical at goal attack, commanding the shooting circle and converting her shots, whilst also making six turnovers, one interception and two gains.
Austin was later awarded Player of the Match for her performance.
