World Netball (WN) and Net Zero Group (NZG) have today launched a Carbon Engagement Portal to help the Netball Family measure and reduce their personal carbon footprint.
This comes after WN partnered with NZG in July 2024, as part of its commitment to working towards a net zero target of 2040, paving the way for a more sustainability-conscious Netball Family.
WN’s new Carbon Engagement Portal empowers you to take control of your carbon footprint with three simple steps: measure, reduce, and share.
All you need to do is input your data, including your personal driving (don’t forget to include those netball training trips!), flights and energy use, and you can then commit to actionable pledges to reduce your carbon footprint, including opting for active transportation options like walking or cycling.
Finally, you will receive your personalised Climate Action Pledge, which can be shared on social media, celebrating your commitment to reducing your carbon footprint.
By showcasing your commitment, you can encourage others in the Netball Family to join the journey towards a more sustainable future.
