ANZP launch half season passes for NetballPass following thrilling Round 7 action.

The ANZ Premiership has launched half season passes for NetballPass costing just £9.99 GPB and giving the international Netball Family live and on demand access to all matches from Round 8 onwards including the Finals Series.

This comes after three thrilling contests in Round 7 last weekend, with Tactix and Steel winning by no more than four goals, and Magic remarkably ending Pulses unbeaten run.

Magic dominated top of the table Pulse in all four quarters of their game, with their biggest 15-minute win coming in the third quarter which they took 12-5.

New Zealand’s Erena Mikaere was an absolute force to be reckoned with for the home side at goal keeper, as she made nine gains, helping to keep Pulse’s goal scoring tally as low as possible.

That was not the only shock defeat live on NetballPass in Round 7, with Steels strength also catching the Netball Family by surprise as they picked up their second win of the season beating Mystics by four goals.

Another Silver Fern, this time in Kate Heffernan, was crucial in this victory for Steel as she worked tirelessly at centre contributing to the game in all areas of the court, making 18 goal assists, 40 feeds, three gains and two interceptions.

The excitement didn’t stop there though, with Stars pushing Tactix all the way as the lead changed hands multiple times throughout the clash.

Tactix were eventually able to take the win by one goal thanks to a big final quarter, which they won by 6 goals.

New Zealand Shooter, Ellie Bird was on fire for Tactix only missing two shots all game, whilst at the other end South African born, Karin Burger, was dominant in defence making four gains and one interception which proved vital to the final result.

The win puts Tactix top of the table, as they were able to capitalise of Pulses defeat.
