Lindsay Impett Joins INF as Head of Events

The INF is delighted to announce its latest appointment – Lindsay Impett in the role of Head of Events.

Lindsay will be working three days a week from 1st February on behalf of the INF in conjunction with INF Member netball associations and Regional Federations to ensure INF and other international netball events are delivered to World Class Standards and to support the Federation in relation to the strategic development of our event portfolio.

Lindsay joins INF most recently from World Lacrosse where, as Director of Events, Lindsay was responsible for the creation of the delivery strategy for a new discipline (Lacrosse Sixes) as part of the sport’s ‘Olympic Ambition’ and led the process of risk assessment and postponement of the 2020 International Events Programme due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Prior to this Lindsay held executive responsibility for the highly successful Vitality Netball World Cup which sold over 110k tickets and created a global celebration of the sport in the summer of 2019.

Lindsay has also worked on a variety of other major international sporting events including as a Venue General Manager of the Badminton and Rhythmic Gymnastics venue at the London 2012 Olympic Games and as Event Director of the European Archery Championships in the UK.  In addition, Lindsay has delivered events internationally at the Australian Youth Olympic Festival and The World Masters Games in Australia and on behalf of a charity at the FIFA World Cup in South Africa in 2010, amongst others. Lindsay brings to INF a wealth of experience across events, project management and international sport.

We look forward to having Lindsay as part of the INF team.
