International Women’s Day 2019

Better for Balance, not just today but every day

Today on International Women’s Day the International Netball Federation salutes those who strive for a balanced world.

From the players in our sport, be they male or female, recreational or elite, to our fans young and old.  We celebrate the coaches, the officials, the volunteers who give their time and knowledge.

We thank those who make it possible for women and girls to play sport, any sport.  The administrators, the governments and NGOs.

We acknowledge the sponsors and partners who act to reduce inequality in funding and enable women to take part.

Thanks to those in the media who are working to promote women’s achievements in sport and deliver gender-balanced sports coverage – we are witnessing a change.

We recognise those that strive to tackle education and health inequalities, and those who assist women to break free of poverty or domestic abuse.

INF is committed to the empowerment of women and girls through netball, not just today but everyday.  Join us and help us to accelerate gender balance #BetterforBalance
