Netball Development Trust

Netball Development Trust is a UK Charity that delivers netball at grass roots in less developed countries, allowing children the freedom to play and have fun.

NDT works with schools and projects in the community to help young people to become players, leaders, coaches and officials.

NDT works with partners throughout:

India
Kenya
Pakistan
Uganda

Here is Peace Proscovia, INF Ambassador talking about the fantastic work NDT do in her home country of Uganda.

NDT use netball as a tool to bring communities together and their partners deliver ‘sexual and reproductive health’ awareness to children.

For the last 18 months, NDT with its local partners, such as X-SUBA, have integrated sexual health education into their netball programme. This has enhanced coach-participant relationships and continues to open opportunities for young people to freely share and learn from each other and the trained facilitators.

In September 2018, 12 UK volunteers from the Netball Development Trust went on a 3 week tour to Kenya and Uganda, visiting 4 of their ongoing projects:

Bungoma, Kenya
Fort Portal, Uganda
Jinja, Uganda
Mukono, Uganda
