Sri Lanka and Singapore Qualify for Netball World Cup 2019

Sri Lanka and Singapore have both qualified for the Netball World Cup 2019 (NWC), following the Asian Regional Qualifiers held from 1st-9th September 2018.

Sri Lanka secured their qualification with a 69-50 win over Singapore on Sunday evening, whilst Singapore’s 51-43 Saturday victory over Malaysia earned them the second place available for the Asia region.

Both teams took part in the Netball World Cup 2015 in Sydney, Australia with Singapore placing 15th and Sri Lanka placing 16th.

The Asian qualifiers for NWC2019 were live streamed by the INF throughout the tournament enabling fans to follow the performance of their team wherever in the world they were.
