Fast5 Captain’s Call

INF President, The Hon Molly Rhone, OJ, CD, joined the captains of the top six netballing nations in the world at the Fast 5 Captain’s Call held today at AusKarts Go-Karting track in Melbourne, Australia.  The Fast 5 Netball World Series takes place at the Hisense Arena on 28 and 29 October.

Molly Rhone said:  “We are delighted with how this shortened game of netball is developing and attracting new audiences.  It’s a highlight of our international calendar and is a hit with media and broadcasters.”   Read her full address here….

Fast5 is the INF’s shortened version of netball, with dynamic rules changes, including five players-a-side, shortened quarters, multiple point shots and double point power plays.  Teams from Australia, New Zealand, England, Jamaica, South Africa and Malawi will play six 24-minute games across the two-day series in a round robin format, with final rankings determining the gold medal match.
