About the World Netball Foundation

Netball is handed down through generations of women. It is a community where women and girls come together to explore, share and seek new ways of being. Around the world 20 million people play netball in more than 80 countries.

World Netball Foundation is mandated by World Netball to act on the Inspire Pillar of the World Netball Strategy to contribute to the overall purpose: to create a better world through netball.

It has relationships with 44 national governing bodies and a partner in World Netball events including the Netball World Cup and the FAST5 Netball World Series. 

WHAT CHANGE DO WE SUPPORT?

We will invest in netball initiatives that aim to:

Promote good physical and mental wellbeing

by addressing logistics that prevent people taking the court, especially by supporting menstrual hygiene management, providing safe transport, child care or appropriate uniforms.

Support development of employability pathways

by creating opportunities for education, training , employment and entrepreneurship through development of personal skills like leadership, communication and financial management.

Build connected communities

by promoting positive physical activity experiences with peers and coaches building safe social environments in which all can thrive.
