The Panel is responsible for advising the CEO and the Board and working with them to support the development and implementation of agreed priorities in the Strategic Plan, particularly, in relation to supporting the development of quality coaches worldwide.
Specifically the Panel shall:
- Work with the Board, Regional Federations and Members to maintain and communicate the current overview of coaching across the INF Membership
- Establish a framework that provides INF Members with clear guidelines for the delivery of quality coaching and development.
- Advise the Board and produce INF Rules, Protocols and Procedures relating to Coaching.
- Guide & support INF Members in identifying and mentoring targeted coaches in line with INF strategic priorities also in conjunction with or acknowledging current national developments in this area.
- Liaise with Regional Federations and national Member organisations to guide and support the identification of quality coach educators and mentors operating at all levels of the game.
- Facilitate the delivery of education/training workshops for coaches at International and Regional levels as appropriate.
- Contribute to or endorse quality coach education programmes & resources as well as promote those already available.
- Work in conjunction with other Panels and Committees in the broader context of INF’s strategic development objectives to ensure alignment.

During nine years as National Coach, the Australian Team won the 1995 World Championships, the inaugural 1998 Commonwealth Games Gold medal for Netball, the 1999 World Championships and the 2002 Commonwealth Games Gold medal for Netball. |
![]() | Julia Lawrence (Reappointed from April 1st, 2018) | Julia’s involvement within the sports industry spans over 20 years. A former secondary PE teacher, Julia took on the role of Coaching Director at Netball Victoria in 1995 where she worked for 15 years in various technical, development and corporate roles. Moving to Singapore in 2011 with her family, Julia worked with Netball Singapore for 5 years as Technical Manager overseeing both Coach and Umpire Development. Julia returned home in 2016 to take up the position of General Manager – Coach & International Development at Netball Australia which she held almost 3 years. An opportunity to progress her career led Julia to the Australian Football League where she currently holds the position of National Coach Development and Education Manager. |

![]() | Yvonne Willering ONZM (Reappointed from April 1st, 2018) | Yvonne Willering played as a provincial representative netballer from 1968 until 1985 and for the Silver Ferns from 1974 to 1983. |
![]() | Norma Plummer | Norma is a multi Netball World Cup winner, both as a player and as a coach. Norma led the Aussie Diamonds to World Cup success in 2007 and in 2011 and was member of the Aussie Diamonds squad who became World Champions in 1975. |
![]() | Burta de kock | Burta has been a high performance coach for the previous fifteen years at the University of the Free State as well as the Province Free State. Burta has coached the national South African Proteas side in 2006/2007 and in 2011. She also coached the South Africa under 23s between 2016 and 2017. |
![]() | Bridget Adams | Bridget has been the Netball Head Coach in the High Performance Department and part-time Lecturer at the University of Trinidad and Tobago for the past 11 years. She holds an Executive Masters Degree in Sports Management and is currently a doctoral candidate in Sport Studies. Bridget represented Trinidad and Tobago for 15 years with the last 4 as captain, and played in three World Tournaments, (1983-Singapore – placing 2nd, 1987-Scotland placing 3rd and 1995-England placing 6th). She also played in several Caribbean Championships and the West Indies team which toured England and Wales in 1991. Bridget coached the senior national team at AFNA Championships and Commonwealth Games in 2008 and 2010, winning the AFNA Championships in 2008. She won the national award for Sportswoman of the Year in 1991, and was inducted into the FCB’s national Sports Foundation Hall of Fame in 2015. She certifies coaches in the AFNA Region, and the Mayaro Netball Court was renamed “The Bridget Adams Netball Court” in 1995. She also serves administratively |
