Election News from INF Congress

Shirley Hooper from New Zealand has just been voted in at Congress as Further Elected Director.  She replaces Octavia Gibson who has served as Further Director for the past two years and previously as INF Americas Regional Director for eight years.  INF President Molly Rhone thanked Octavia for all the work she done for the INF and congratulated Shirley Hooper on her new role.

Shirley says: “I am honoured and delighted to be elected to the INF Board.  As a sisterhood of small and large netball nations, there is a strength in what we can achieve together.  In fact, INF can only achieve what we need it to with all the collaboration of the entire family of netball.”

Shirley has a long history in netball and netball governance having served on regional, franchise, Netball New Zealand and Trans Tasman Netball Limited.

In addition to this appointment, Vice President Sue Taylor has been voted in by Congress for a further four years and was congratulated by Molly Rhone.
