Kate Palmer is appointed CEO of the Australian Sports Commission

The International Netball Federation is delighted to learn that Kate Palmer, CEO of Netball Australia, has been appointed CEO of the Australian Sports Commission – the first female head of the ASC in 31 years.

Kate’s career with netball spans nine years as CEO of Netball Australia, and prior to that six years as CEO of Netball Victoria. She also served as a Board Director of the INF for four years.

The Hon. Molly Rhone OJ, CD, INF President says: “We congratulate Kate and are thrilled that she has become the first woman in this highly significant position. This outstanding appointment sends an important and inspirational message to female leaders in sports administration all over the world.”
