International Men’s Day 2021

Today marks International Men’s Day and to celebrate World Netball wants to recognise the men in netball and the contributions they have made to our sport.

World Netball’s 2021 strategic plan outlined a vision to ensure netball is a sport that is open to all, and as part of the ‘Play’ strategy agreed a goal to embrace boys’ and men’s participation in netball through collaboration and support.

Therefore, on International Men’s Day we want to work with our wider Netball Family to recognise the inspirational men in netball.

If you know a man involved in netball who deserves celebrating whether it be a player, coach, administrator, official, fan or even a supportive ‘netball Dad’ we would love to hear from you.

Visit our Twitter and Facebook page and help us create a thread of inspirational men in netball by telling us their netball story.
