Taini Jamison Trophy – Match Three

The final match in the Cadbury Netball Series for the Taini Jamison Trophy takes place on Friday 24th September between the New Zealand Silver Ferns and the England Roses.

The match is the decider of the series after the Silver Ferns won the first game 48-42 and the Roses made their come back in the second game to win 55-45.

After opening the series with a victory the Silver Ferns lead game two 24-21 at half-time, and it looked as though we had a repeat of the 2020 series on our hands where the Ferns were victorious in all three matches.

However, Jess Thirlby’s Roses side had another idea and made a come-back in the second half of game two to win the game with a 10 goal margin.

The results mean the trophy is still within reach for both sides in Friday’s game, which will be broadcast on Sky Sports in the UK and in New Zealand.
