Netball Fiji Vacancy – National Coach

Netball Fiji (NF) is now recruiting for an experienced, accredited and passionate high performance professional to lead the Fiji Netball Program as the National Coach.

Based primarily out of Suva, Fiji’s capital city, the Coach will lead the overall development and implementation of the NF Program. The position will manage the development and implementation of all areas of player and team performance of the Fiji Netball National Team and oversee the team’s underpinning program.

The Program is primarily aimed at achieving the following goals:

  • Developing and Implementing a national development program that will enhance the skills and knowledge of athletes and coaches
  • Identifying, developing and working with talented Netball athletes to prepare them for elite level competition and ultimately international success.
  • Identifying and providing guidance to talented coaches within FNA affiliates
  • Working with NF to ensure the program compliments Government’s initiative to lift the level of the sport in Fiji.

To ensure success in this role, you will have coached at International level, have demonstrated experience working with elite athletes and coaches, including devising and implementing successful programs, as well as a thorough knowledge and understanding of the high performance requirements for athletes to aspire to and succeed at the highest international level.

To complement your experience, you will also need to possess proven leadership and decision making skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and sound organisational and planning skills.
