Last weekend the SPAR Challenge Test Series took place in Cape Town, South Africa. The SPAR Proteas took on the England Vitality Roses in a three day test series at the Bellville Velodrome. Across the series, fans saw some exciting netball, with England winning the series 2-1.

Test 1 Friday 29th November: South Africa 58 v 63 England
Test 2 Saturday 30th November: South Africa 53 v 59 England
Test 3 Sunday 1st December: South Africa 54 v 48 England
At the end of the series, alongside the trophy presented to England, were several awards:
Player of the Series: Shadine van der Merwe (SA)
Best Shooter Lenize Potgieter (SA)
Best Centre Court: Natalie Haythornthwaite (ENG)
Best Defence: Stacey Francis (ENG)
