The final side we look at ahead of the Netball Europe World Cup 2019 Qualifiers, is Northern Ireland.
Northern Irish netball has certainly been on a high recently following a very good 2017. A second placed finish in the Netball Europe Open and currently sitting 8th in the INF World Rankings, Northern Ireland will be looking to qualify for their first World Cup since 2011.
Northern Ireland will go into the qualifiers as the highest ranked side. They will also be aware that they were victorious the last time they played both Wales in Scotland during the Netball Europe Open last October. Both of those games were won by a single goal margin which again emphasizes just how unpredictable the qualifiers will be.
The squad will be the same twelve who have been selected for the Commonwealth Games.
A match against Wales on Saturday afternoon will begin Northern Ireland’s qualifying campaign, before closing the event against Scotland on the Sunday.

Northern Ireland have only missed out on three World Cups in their history. Those were 1967 (Perth), 2007 (Auckland) and 2015 (Sydney).
