The netball competition at the Pacific Mini Games came to a close with Papua New Guinea taking the gold.
Vanuatu hosted the 2017 Pacific Mini Games which featured netball for the first time since 2009. Four teams competed at the netball event, which concluded last Friday (15th).
Papua New Guinea took the gold medal after winning all three of their games, scoring over 70 goals in each of them. Tonga took silver as they won two of their three games, only losing to the winners Papua New Guinea. The Solomon Islands would claim the bronze medal following their victory against the hosts Vanuatu.
